MDPHP (3′,4′-Methylenedioxy-α-pyrrolidinohexiophenone), colloquially known as “Monkey Dust” (though this term is also used for related cathinones like MDPV), is a potent synthetic stimulant of the substituted cathinone class. It is structurally related to MDPV and A-PVP (Flakka) and acts primarily as a Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor (NDRI).

Effects and Characteristics

MDPHP is known for its extreme potency and relatively long duration compared to other “bath salts.”

Subjective Effects: Intense euphoria, hyper-focus, increased energy, and a significant boost in sociability.
The “Compulsion”: Similar to 3-MMC but often more pronounced, it carries a very high “fiendishness” factor, where users feel a compulsive urge to re-dose despite negative side effects.
Duration: The peak effects typically last 3 to 5 hours, but the residual stimulation (insomnia, “after-effects”) can persist for 12 to 24 hours.
